Sure, the movie has a TON of settings, characters, and lore to set up in a 2-hour window, but for an intro to a main character, it’s a solid outing for the God of Thunder. If anything, it set the stage for what Thor and Loki will contribute to the overall MCU. But where will it land on The Hierarchy? In this episode, we watch the second movie in the MCU, and one that isn’t even on the streaming service, The Incredible Hulk! Sure, it released in the same year as Iron Man, but this movie isn’t even in the same league as the movie that started it all. With it being a weird hybrid of a sequel/stand-alone film, and not really nailing the characters, it’s a tough watch that didn’t age very well. But where will it land on The Hierarchy? Can you believe we’re already onto Season 3 of The Castle Vault podcast?
It’s been 20 months since our journey began through the vault of Disney movies. In November of 2019 with the launch of Disney+, we began watching all the films released by Walt Disney Animation Studios. After our 58 film trip (prior to the release of ‘Raya and the Last Dragon’, their 59th film). we moved over to Pixar.
